Madeline E. (Dugan) Polubinski, 92, of Valley View Drive, Danbury, beloved wife of the late Edward K. Polubinski, died peacefully at Hancock Hall on Saturday, January 21st. She was born in Yonkers, NY on June 27, 1919, daughter of the late Emmett and Ethel (Randall) Dugan.

Mrs. Polubinski worked for Union Trust in Danbury for many years. She later worked as a salesperson for Filenes.

She will be sadly missed by her son, James McCann and his wife, Alice; her daughter, Debra Smith and her husband, Kevin; her grandchildren, Maureen McCann, David McCann, Heather Edelmann, Joseph Edelmann Jr. and his wife, Samantha, and Anthony Edelmann, Kevin Smith and his wife, Niki, Jason Smith and his wife, Diana, and Michael Smith and his wife, Meghan; and her eight beloved great grandchildren, Kaelynn and Jack Gonda, Skylar, Riley, and Hayden Smith, McKenah, Elias and Madden Smith; her sister-in-law, Josephine Werden as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was very anxiously awaiting the births of two more great grandchildren, Cash Edelmann and Gavin Smith.

Funeral Information

Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
