Luz D. Arias

Luz D. Arias, 74, formerly of Woodbridge, died at her home in Brookfield, CT on Thursday, January 12th. She was born on December 21, 1937 in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. Luz was the daughter to the late Felix and Margarita (Espinosa) Soto.

Luz is survived by her children, Eva Hornsby and her husband Gregg of Brandon, FL, Eileen “Lisa” Kain of Hillsborough and Freddie Arias and his partner Jeff Castro of Danbury, CT; four grandchildren, Frederic, Michael, Justin and Kristina Kain; her brother, Ismael “Papo” Soto; four sisters, Judy Rodriguez, Claire Soto, Noelia Soto and Annie Escobar. She is predeceased by her brother Freddie Soto.

Funeral Information

Funeral services will be held at 4:30 PM on Sunday, January 15th at Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White St., Danbury CT.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4:30 PM on Sunday at the funeral home.
