John (Janos Laslo Demecs) Demecs

John Demecs (Janos Laslo Demecs), 72, of Danbury died Monday, January 23rd at his home. John was born June 28, 1939 in Kispest, Hungary. He was the son of the late Janos and Erzsebeth Demecs.

John was Head Security Guard at the Hungarian Parliment from 1959 to 1961. He was a member of the Elks Lodge 120 and the Moose Lodge 1373. He loved fishing, boating, traveling and motorcycles and was a family man.

John is survived by his daughter, Susan Demecs of Danbury; his two grandchildren, Ana Maria Demecs and Kristopher John Louzada; as well as two brothers, Gabor Demecs and Istvan Demecs of Hungary. He will be missed by all friends and loved ones.

Funeral Information

A funeral service will be held at 6:30 PM on Thursday, January 26th at Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White St., Danbury.

The family will receive friends on Thursday at the funeral home from 5 to 7 PM.
