Grace A. Hanlon

August 22, 1924 - January 26, 2012

Grace A. (Davidson) Hanlon, 87, of Danbury died Thursday, January 26th at her home. She was the wife of the late Joseph T. Hanlon. Grace was born August 22, 1924 in Coalburn, Scotland, daughter of the late James and Margaret (Baxter) Davidson.

Grace loved to play the piano. She was an excellent cook and was especially known for her pies and shortbread.

Grace is survived by her sons, David Hanlon and his wife Karen of Brookfield, and James Hanlon and his wife Midge of Jupiter, FL; three grandchildren, Kerry Hanlon of Santa Rosa, CA, Amy, and Scott Hanlon of Danbury; three great grandchildren, Abigail, Nora, and Jane. She is also survived by her sister, Mary Catalano of Cape Coral, FL; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Grace was predeceased by her brother, James Davidson.
