William H. Moore

William H. Moore, 77, of Summit Street, Danbury, loving companion of Doreen Page, died at Danbury Hospital on Monday, February 1st. He was born in McGaheysville, Virginia on October 8, 1932, son of the late Harry and Lyda (Tate) Moore.

Mr. Moore was a Veteran of United States Army, serving with the 82nd Airborne as a paratrooper. He later worked for Southbury Training School, retiring after 15 years.

In addition to his companion of 30 years, Doreen, he is survived by three sons and a daughter-in-law; three grandsons; two brothers; two sisters; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his two brothers and five sisters.

Funeral Information

Funeral Services will be held at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Saturday, February 6th at 12:00pm. Cremation and interment will take place at the direction of the family.

The family will receive friends on Saturday morning between the hours of 9:00am and 12:00pm.
