Cremation Services

Cremation is a widely used and increasingly popular alternative to traditional burial which offers many choices for a personal and meaningful ceremony. We have many options available including, but not limited to:

Traditional Cremation Service

In this type of service, cremation takes the place of a traditional burial. A viewing or visitation and a service may take place at the funeral home, church or other location. Cremation takes place after the service. The cremated remains, or cremains, are then cared for following your wish of disposition.

Memorial Service / Celebration of Life

This type of service usually takes place after the cremation. It can be religious or nonreligious, depending on the wishes of the family. The cremated remains can be present at the service in a selected urn, along with photos and personal mementos. Some families choose to place or scatter the cremains in a special location as part of a memorial service.

Direct Cremation

This is a simple cremation without visitation or ceremony. The remains are then cared for as to your wish of disposition.

Some families choose to scatter the cremains in a special place, often with a ceremony. Others choose to keep some or all of the cremains. Our staff can assist you in selecting an urn or other storage container from our large collection. These can be kept by the family, buried in a family plot, or placed in a columbarium. Many people have questions about incorporating cremation into a personalized, meaningful service. Our staff will fully explain the options available and work with you to incorporate cremation into a service that reflects the life of your loved one.
